Breathtaking love story about Johannes Elias Alder, a boy with exceptional musical talent, and his cousin Elsbeth. An extraordinaryness is suspicious in a remote village. Nobody cares about a kid with greater talent than Mozart in the cruel conditions. Nobody even notices the genius in him - except for his friends Petr and Elsbeth. More attention is given to his physical handicap. Who's the boy with yellow eyes?

Elias sees the sounds, enters into them, hears distant heartbeats and ancient sins. He can convert all of it into music - literally ethereal music. That's the reason why God is not done with him. God is not done with the villige which is time to time cleansed by fire.
