One thing is what really happened, another how media inform about it. The skillful use of fear of terrorism to get rid of anyone unwanted.

The story of the heroine describes the ruthless media hunt and lynch to which this modest and kind girl is unexpectedly exposed. At a party, Katharina by chance meets a young military runaway who is suspected of terrorism. The young woman is interrogated by the police and the story gets into the hands of the tabloid press. Articles and reports accuse her of everything and anything, including involvement in acts of terrorism.

The famous novel from 1974 not only about the lethal impact of disinformation.
