The Heart Belongs to Jail - Srdce patří za mříže

How easy it is to loose your heart in today's world. The youngest theatre generation shares their point of view on violence.

Švandovo Theatre Ensemble
Show Length: 1 hr without intermission
Director: Alžběta Burianová
Premiere Date: 29. 4. 2017
Derniere Date: 18. 6. 2021

A trade with political prisoners' organs, sensationalistic exhibition of illegally obtained corpses, strange friendship of the mole and a panda. Controversial topics from the point of view of young generation.

Matters of the heart. Are these the fragile things that the mind cannot embrace? Or are these the most instinctive things that the mind cannot prevent in time? Our hearts constantly beat on alert and fight our mortal combat. Yet no one would say the heart is an aggressor - it is our materialised will to live. An incorrect point of view of the youngest theatre generation on violence in the world and also in ourselves.
